2021 D Washington Crossing Quarter. What Would This Be Caused By?

Jakescoin New Member United States 39 Posts	Posted 12/16/2021 5:17 pm I've been searching new quarters and found 4 in the same roll with the same odd mark. Kinda looks like WASHINGTON (on the reverse) is blowing smoke or has a fancy mustache haha. I am quite new to error searching and would love any thoughts/insight. Thanks for looking! Have you looked at an overlay to see if it might be a die clash? But since it doesn't line up with where the Mark's are on my coins, does that mean it would not be a die clash? Or were the dies just positioned a little differently?
