From my shield cent error collection. Found the 2018 D & 2019D in brand new denver rolls of each date. The 2018 D is affected on the obverse and reverse while the 2019 D is only affected on the obverse. Very cool I do have a 2020 as well that is extreme as well. Very cool error curious to as how the copper plated is affected before the strike to come out like this.

I was watching this one. So it is an incomplete plating issue? Cool, I've seen it before, but didn't know what it was.

It's close to looking like post mint damage, but it's not, it's a coating/shell issue.
