The obverse shows a slight misaligned die and early emergence of Die Deterioration (hint of Ridge Ring in IN GOD WE).

The obverse is a tiny bit offset. We call it a MAD coin, (misaligned die Die) but so minor to not have any extra value to it.

@don, you are correct that there is a spot weakly struck on the rev that contains the last S in STATES plus part of OF. This is very common occurrence and is caused by a finite amount of metal being available to strike up the details. This area is directly opposite Abe's shoulder and so that area ends up getting the metal at the expense of these letters.

The "S & o" are a struck though a Grease Fill on these devices. Note all the other devices in that area are wider and short in height also because of a lesser amount of grease on them as well, but not enough to be blocked out.

@don, yes good eyes. The rim at the top on the obv is a little thinner than the rim on the bottom. Since they are pretty much the same width on the rev, we call this a mis-aligned die or MAD. This is what @ijn and @dear were talking about in their replies.
