SilverCents Pillar of the Community United States 3281 Posts	Posted 12/26/2021 8:08 pm I noticed this and just wanted to post it to make sure I wasn't missing anything. Still practicing my LWC attribution and such. I've determined that this could be either flattening, die wear, something else. I don't think this is thickened because of a doubled die, as other devices aren't that enlarged, but I just wanted to make sure. silviosi Pillar of the Community Canada 6244 Posts	Posted 12/26/2021 8:16 pm I see that the letters of LIBERTY on the two coins has same angle and dimensions (high). Seem to be flattered, but when? This it is the answer to find, and I am curios to know. Report this Post to the Staff
Spence Moderator United States 34397 Posts	Posted 12/26/2021 8:49 pm I do see that the arms of the letter Y are different widths, but I'm not seeing split corners at the bottom of any of the letters of LIBERTY. Maybe these are obscured by circulation wear?
