This coin has me excited whether it is or isn't doubled in anyway just for the sheer quality of it! I thought it was a 2021 coin, but when I opened the roll and saw 1973. In pristine shape, with an almost proof like look to it, my heart skipped a beat!

It's hard to tell with my camera phone. But it looks like there are some extra seraphs showing in some of the letters. Lmk what yall think.

Either way though, if I would sent this for a grade, what type of grade do you think it would receive, and does anyone think I should send it in? I'm thinking it would at least get a 65/66... hoping maybe a 68-69 though TBH. NOT sure how many if any of those exist though...

*( how much is it to send to a grading company btw?)*

@mze, to help us would you mind telling us on which letters you are seeing some doubling with the coin in hand? Also, if it is subtle, we might need a close-up image of that area too. Thx.

Lots glare. You might want to try using a defused lighting source. As Spence has asked, where exactly are you seeing doubling? Sharp close-ups on that area would help us.

If you are looking for a grade, try posting it over in the grading section to have more eyes on it.

Actual price for 1972D MS67 is 25$ an MS66 10$.

Grading is around 50$ plus shipping and manutention. It is up to you to decide.

For this year look like mean MS not proof.

Photos are a bit soft and too contrasty (glare) to make out any doubling. Appears to be a nice coin, could fall somewhere in the MS64-66 range. Just can't get more definitive than that given the images posted.
