Good evening community! I was looking at coins with my son last weekend and came across a few things of interest. I have read so many web links the community has shared and I really appreciate it.

1) is this a candidate for being a double die? I have looked on variety vista and there's no DDO listed for 1979 p nor is there a DDR. Dont know if there are different variety of NEAR DATE/WIDE RIM. SBA dollars. I'm hoping this community notices what I'm seeing.

Obverse side

The mint mark has a dark line actually looks as if p1
The last 9 in date look in hole as if looking threw it. Is there a tail of # behind 9
The eye is solid black
Nose is HUGE!
Back of hair. Looks like a tunnel
Forehead has a squiggly line as if a hair out of place or harry potter lightning bolt.
All of the letters in liberty look doubled.

REVERSE SIDE

All the letters look fat, bubbly, and some mangled.
The olive leaf/ twig is like bubbled metal
The words one dollar especially the D.
Is that Machine Doubling.
Even the stars are a little twisted.
I thought it was a mis aligned die yet didn't notice anything. What stands out the most is the word liberty. I posted this coin over a year ago. Even was graded a 63 by the community. Yet for some reason it always draws my concern.
Are there any varieties other then the NEAR DATE/WIDE RIM. If so can you help me identify or understand why I'm seeing these things. Thanks community.

IBE of Liberty does look doubled, but clearer images would help, for more feedback you might post in the Modern Variety and Error forum

Not a DD but without a doubt a wide rim variety, nice find! :)
I say AU-53 details, obverse scratches.

@ Biglou25, please start your own topic about your coin, posting a coin on someone else's thread is hijacking a thread and is against forum rules. thank you for your cooperation.
