What makes you think it might be worth a premium?

Hey there that's just a classic 1999-1787 delaware when delaware join the union due the shape of the coin I would say from 25 cents to an impeccable shape would go to 24 bucks if it's Ag made so let's say 4 bucks, I would keep it as historical personal collection

Thanks Hugobotis! I'm wondering if it does have Ag in it. It appears to have yellowish tint throughout.

There is a Grease Filled Die issue on the passenger on of the horse. But not much of a premium because of circulation has taken its toll. It could be polished die issue. I have images of a stronger one, but not able to find it right now.

It does not have silver in it, it has a copper core with a nickel cladding.
Only the S mint quarters have silver in them.
Yours Is an ordinary quarter worth 25 cents.

I'm seeing a well-circulated '99 D CT quarter, worth a solid 25 cents.

I wish I could tell you that this coin was worth more than 0.25¢, but I cannot. I have a much better one (in mint state) and that one is probably worth only 0.25¢ too.

Now, if you had a Silver 'S' minted coin, that would be a much different story.
