Ridge Ring is a form of die wear common on zinc coated cents and the 7 of date looks like a split plating doubling.

Are we to be looking at the length of the 7, or the apparent doubling?

Length looks okay when compared to PCGS online photos.

I'm not sure that the copper plating is split. Rather this looks like more DDD on the number 7 to me.

How about a zoomed in picture of the date, not just the same picture being cropped to enlarge the image.
