I have absolutely no clue just wondering if this crack is the beginning of a BIE variety. There are a few like this in a roll with 4 "BIE" coins I guess I should look for a die marker. Look at me speaking like a coin guy. LOL

Nope I should have taken a picture first. No die crack between B and E

Not a die chip, but maybe a small die crack?

Huge crack on his shoulder in first photo though. Looks like you could have a clash also.

First image looks like a small die crack connecting the B and I, but what is more significant on this coin is the interior die crack on the bust.
Last photo is considered BIE.
Nice coins.

This is a well know BIE listed both in 1969 edition of "THE CLASSIFICATION AND VALUE OF ERRORS ON THE Lincoln Cent" & The "BIE Handbook" Edited by Howard O Hardy and published in 1972. Both show a number of different stages for this die. A number of these show the die crack on the coat as a die marker.
