  Okay I think this is a clipped planchet. If so besides it looking like it. How to tell if legit? Does anyone collect them. This is an excellent coin. ms-65 or 66, I believe. That's my story and I am sticking to it. Fill me in. Yes I tried looking it up.

I'm not good at judging clips but this looks legit to me. I think this will be the next error I'll look more into.
Very cool double clip if it's legit.

The tapered rims and Blakesley effect looks legit to me. MS63

Spence describe one of the main thing to see. Also you look the coin by side. On clip planchet the cut must be strait 90 deg.

This one would make a good discussion point. The clips, the Blaksley affect, the weakness of the devices near the clip and other subjects could be covered? Probably too obvious though.
