Looks like a combo of Die Deterioration and MD but no hub doubling.

Is this what a split seriff looks like?

What I see there is deterioration. I have actually seen split serifs on MD but it does not make it a doubled die. Just keep looking and you will be able to see the difference, it took me some time and a lot of aggravation for others.

just remember that error searching takes time. errors are not all that common, which gives them an increased value.

Looks like true MD to me. Here is a site to bookmark https://koinpro.tripod.com/Articles...Doubling.htm
Also, your close-up photos look like a screen shot, if so, please no screen shots.

All these devices are incuse. They are below the surface of the coin. When slight Machine Doubling happens they enlarge the devices. On raised devices they would indicate a DDR. But on the incuse devices, they are just the opposite, Machine Doubling. No DDR's will be found on this area. All the DDR's on these ATB Quarters are on the center area of the design. You have to look these up to see what is a DDR to find these. Some design will not have DDR's because of the design.

That is what I meant as a screen shot, please do not do that. Use a memory card in your scope.
