Hello, I'm lost on my 1965 dime no mint mark. It weighs in at 1.99 grams. I've weighed it multiple times, recalabrated, and used different scale. Never weighed over 2.03 grams. I would think that the weight reduction is a bit high. Any ideas?

Taking into account the tolerance of +-.09g and the fact it has been corroded, you might still be in the ballpark.
Having scales that are not consistent doesn't help either.

. Your dime suffers from environmental damage, like maybe a once buried coin. Nothing unusual considering the exposer. Spend it.

Environmental damage/corrosion, probably from being buried in soil as others have suggested. With a mint weight of 2.50 grams, your weights aren't too far off from tolerance. Time for a new scale maybe. Keep searching!
