I just picked up my 1.5 oz 9999. gold 1884 CC patched die pair restrike. This is 1 of only 3 struck of this certified US Mint matched pairs, and I only know of 2 other confirmed matched die pars.

This thing glows and shows so much better than the images!

This thing looks so much better in hand, and at 1.5 oz's of 9999 gold, when you 1st first hold this coin, the weight is surprisingly heavy!

This coin was stuck on 1 of the 4000 Solman Island 2018 Players championship 150-dollar coins. so the population of them is down to 3,997 coins with the 3 that were struck also had production numbers of lower than the 1st 50 coins struck LOL

The coins had to be cupped, and then flattened in a reducing collar with .9999 AU inserted into the edge of the resized collar. This was done to comply with US law and so the circumference could be reduced to the size of a Morgan dollar.

Definitely not a parking lot (wagon lot) coin.
