Yes, all of this is PMD. The circular lines are caused from the machines that roll these coins. The end coins usually get scratched.

Quote: The end coins usually get scratched. @ Jacrispies: Can you elaborate this? @Broken: Your coin is very bad damage, just a spender.

Yes, post-strike wear and damage, including the classic (and infamous) mechanical coin rolling machine ring. Worth a solid 25 cents

@sil, the OP had asked about "ring lines". As @jac mentioned, those arc-shaped scratches just inside the rim are caused by roller machines, either at the mint or afterwards at a bank. I've asked @coop to identify his favorite explanation of this damage to add to his CoopHome sticky thread.

Thanks everyone! I've always wondered about the ring lines and lines going through letters. Now I know! Sometimes, damage done to coins looks machine made, it can be confusing to me. I love learning all of this information!

Thanks Spence. Me I have interest to know when is happened and on which machine type and part of the machine is happened and why the last counted coins are more offend to has this?. The machines have two major parts: 1. counting and 2.roll. Then in which rolls happened more in paper rolls, poly rolls, etc. If COOP can elaborate on this issue, I will be glad to take knowledge of.
