2007 Presidential Dollar Error? - Coin Community Forum

Fdock9 New Member United States 49 Posts	Posted 01/17/2022 9:57 pm So I've been opening some old rolls from the mint, of 2007 Presidential dollars and I came across what I'm assuming is a die clash, anyone got a better idea of why my liberty has an "O" face? I actually dont think it's an "O" I think it's a "G". Any help is welcome and thanks. Report this Post to the Staff

That is about the highest point on the design so it would have been the deepest part of the die. No way to get a clash down there without also clashing against everything else around it. Fdock9 New Member United States 49 Posts	Posted 01/18/2022 02:47 am I believe there is clashing elsewhere in the coin but nothing as cool as the mark on the cheekbone, theres mars all over the coin. But most look weird or not much.at fist I thought it was bag marks but I just realized how odd the Mark's looked compared to other bag marks.
