1972 Kennedy Half Dollar Error? - Coin Community Forum

slockrem New Member United States 3 Posts	Posted 01/18/2022 1:49 pm Hello, my dad recently passed away and I was going through his coin collection and came across a Kennedy half dollar with a old looking nose. It looks different than the other coin I have from the same year. Ill post both pictures of 2 different coins from the same year. Is this an error or just from being a circulated coin. coop Bedrock of the Community United States 62064 Posts	Posted 01/18/2022 3:57 pm Looks like the nose/brow area was affected by a strong polishing to remove a Feeder Finger Damage issue. Looks like a altered the brow and added a bump up on the nose. Just a die event. Report this Post to the Staff
