2022 Missing Reed Location - Coin Community Forum

livingwater Pillar of the Community United States 2213 Posts	Posted 01/19/2022 7:23 pm Just saw a few 2022 ASE. The US Mint has moved the missing reed to under the sun, not under the date as the 2021. I don't know if this change is for all 2022 ASE. Maybe a little better security feature than I first thought if they move the missing reed every year. I assume it would be a little harder to counterfeit changing its location each year.
