2002 D Louisiana State Quarter With Small Letter D S Under The Word Liberty. What Is It?

inherited a bunch of Coins from late Grandma.
Been doing a lot of research about Coin Collecting & Errors.

I found this one particular Quarter from The State Collection, it's the 2002 D Louisiana that has 3 letter "D" under the letters "TY" in LIBERTY.

What is it, never seen this before.

Has anyone come across this in your
Collection? Please see Pictures.

I greatly appreciate your response.

they are Reed Marks from another quarter.. (the edge of another quarter hit this one on edge)

I agree, they are what is known as bag marks from another coin striking it during transportation.
It is considered damage.

Yes, classic reeding hit. One sees reeding hits on quarters somewhat frequently.
