1952 Wheat Penny Is This A Die Crack?

Muffun New Member Sweden 23 Posts	Posted 01/21/2022 10:49 am I've never had one so I'm not quite sure. Is that what this is called. I'm American living in sweden my husband collects Swedish and I obv collect American he bought me this in a book with a penny collection for really cheap.i was honestly surprised by the quality of the coins in it. I came across this it was just labeled like a normal coin but there's like an extra piece on his hair. The back is weird cause it has a nice rainbow tone but also rough looking. Just hoping someone can tell me if this is a die crack or something else and if the back is environmental damage. I took in 2 different lights its not very easy to capture the tone but it is very nice. Report this Post to the Staff

(On the arrow at 2:00) Probably the reverse side of the coin got wet and altered the color in the album.
