Keep trying! ! And you could also have a Lincoln that may not have a vdb from 1910-1917...

Well the VDB is incuse on the coin. So it can't be a filled with grease issue. (Because it is raised on the die) But die polishing can remove the VDB off the die. So then the VDB can be removed from the die, and thus VDB doesn't show on the coins struck by that die until the Die is retired.

Look at the 1910-1917 cents. That will show you what it looks like.

Not only is the VDB missing , but so are the photos...

Takes a bit of a learning curve to post up pixs- keep at it.
