On
DDD the stretch is in the direction of the rims on the fields. That is what you are pointing to on the one arrow near the rim at the top of the image. But there maybe light reflection appearing on the bases of the devices. Remember that reflections are not the same as hub doubling. If you rotate the coin a bit then you will see it is reflection or not? But on the
DDO the devices will be enlarged:

Look for the spread on the centers of the devices, not looking at the outside/inside edges of the devices.
This will lead you astray. Hub doubling enlarges the devices on raised devices.



On incuse devices, hub doubling reduces the size of the devices.


Machine Doubling removes the contour of the devices, making them smaller on raised devices.
Machine Doubling on incuse doubling enlarges the devices.
