Interesting. It looks like it could be FS-102, but the pictures aren't clear enough to tell. It could easily just be Machine Doubling or Die Deterioration based on these photos. Can you post better images that give close ups of "In God We Trust"?

Might just be lighting but looks like DDO-002, as far as IN GOD looks. Maybe a later die stage. Better closeups of that area would tell us all we need to know though.

-makecents- We always ask to see both sides of posted coins. there are times when we can spot things the OP was not aware of. Perhaps not with this coin, perhaps not in this case, but it's just a good habit for posters to do for us.

Perhaps it doesn't make a difference for some, but I'd like tio see a photo of the reverse as well. The reverse die on '55 cents can have associated die markers--die chips, die cracks, etc. Thanks.
