According with your photos, I will not send. Up to you. If the do not give you 67 or high (which IIMO I do do not believe) it is not worth.

Where are you seeing doubling? Did you check the reference site? John1

Not immediately seeing any doubling. While the coin is nice--and would be a very good hole filler in a collection--I don't feel it's in the higher MS range. Not uncommon in this condition.

Nice find in circulation but certainly not worth $150.00 which it would need to be worth to send it in.

Agree with all the above. Excellent example if you're starting an album and want to fill a slot, but not worth getting graded and not seeing any doubling. Grading ultramodern non-error/variety coins is a complete craps shoot, since they're really only worth the cost in like MS67 or 68, which is borderline impossible to distinguish from a nice 66, or even more from one another.

Do not send in , reverse hits and chewed up rim bottom left . I don't see any doubling , very possible for FS . What's with the glossy obverse ? AU-63 .

nice coin, hint of a fingerprint above and left of Monticello's dome, MS-63, probably full step

The gold colored coin is plated, it that is the real color. Too shiny to be a business strike coin. So the surface was altered.

I too think the coin is plated from the obverse photo. to the CCF!

I've seen many business strike nickels with a reflective surface like that, particularly ones dated 2000. Avoid touching the surfaces as that will leave oils that will etch those surfaces eventually.

Isn't the first few strikes on a fresh pair of business strike dies PL in appearance? John1

Thanks for the comments everyone I really learn a lot every time I'm on the site this is the most informed collection of collectors on the internet being able to ask these type of questions and get these type of answers boosts my knowledge and brings me back to reality but with that knowledge one day I will find a piece worth grading! Thanks again

It is a very nice nickel, well preserved, but as stated it looks plated, the bottom set of steps on the reverse are gone. with many hits and dings. Sending it in would be a waste of money, but that is always your choice. (Not one I would make though).
