I wanted to get opinions if this is a woody cent? Found hunting rolls. Thank you.

Thank you for your answers. It was suggested in another forum that the coin looks cleaned due to age and condition. Would you folks agree that it is cleaned or did I just get really lucky finding one in good condition?

I do not know sure. Why the rims has not the effect and why the flat surfaces of R and O not same? A closer look is need. the color is more brass color and in the 1929 was bronze. curios for me it is the come-on on this coin.

@808cash I give 'it to you an reflection answer, not definitive.

looks like a woodie, but it looks strange too. I'm not seeing any mint luster but that could be the age of it.

It's a woody. I've come across similar in my decades of wading through mountains of wheat cents.

From the point of view of sell is woody. From the point of the coin seem to be others, and is not the point of cleaning because was clean and it is no doubt of this. The point it is if we say it is woody? why we stand for our argument(s).

I am not remembering, something about the streak running in opposite directions or same direction on both sides?
