I would have typically put this right back in the bring it back to the bank pile while roll searching thinking definitely environmental, but there is a beautiful rainbow luster on the coin that I could not pass by. I realize that's part of how you tell if it's environmental or improper and healing is if it has Lester can you help me out to correct me if I'm wrong?

That is environmental toning. You can see it start to rub off on the high points.

Zinc cents are not annealed. The incuse damage on the obverse does not add any premium for this coin. It is not a mint error.

Zinc and copper are soft metals, no annealing is necessary, it's when nickel gets added to the mix, the annealing must be done. Nickels, and clad coins.

Agree, no annealing involved. Appears to have a good dose of environmental toning, with and some scratches, dings, and nicks.
