Threw a best offer at the seller and got this with shipping for $25.95. 1923 liberty Peace dollar key chain with WWII gun motif & W.P. Bloom on reverse. Figured probably created afterwards as a memento rather than trench art.

Might be interesting back story searching the name against Infantry divisions. Wouldn't be surprised if 1923 was the soldier's birth year.

Very interesting indeed - it would be great to learn the story of W.P Bloom and his service in WWII.

Great keyring! I've been putting holed coins on mine. I put small split rings through the holes before hanging them on the bigger ring.

As the Coin Community slogan used to say "What's in your pocket?" That's where coins belong.

I looked for the old slogan, which has been changed to something about education. That's fine but coins still belong in pockets. At least the new slogan mentions key.

I wonder why they used 11 instead of II?
