1968 Struck Thru Wire Proof Penny

I found this online, and it is a 1968-s penny. It has a wire struck thru it from the middle of Lincoln all the way towards In God. How rare are these error coins? How much are they worth? I think this is a wire, but it could be a scratch too?

Hard to tell from the photo but I am leaning towards a slight scratch
only because it is so fine. Struck through wire would be much thicker.

That is not wire struct through . Looks more like a strand of hair or small thread .

i find no extra value on a strike through like that... and if the pictures arent good enough, you got to know when to pass or ask the seller for close up pictures (which I have done).

some strike throughs have a premium.
struck through something large or leaves a pattern or still stuck in the coin...
