Sometimes a person is looking for info about a vintage poured silver bar. I found a collector's site that shows pics of his bars. He has some cool old poured bars. If someone is looking for info, check his site. Just keep scrolling down to see them all. https://vintagepouredbar.com/Edited by livingwater 02/14/2022 08:25 am

I suppose that's a bit different than bars pouring vintage beverages.

That silver corvette is really neat, unfortunately they seem exceedingly rare.

Some of those old bars sell at a huge premium over melt:2-5x melt, probably more for some.

Good site. I've been trying to identify the maker of these bars for a long time and if there is any value above melt. I hope he can help.

Really neat - thanks for the share! I think the shop I worked at during the silver scare in 1979 was Academy in New Mexico, I recall seeing some of those bars.
EDIT: Couldn't have been as they weren't around back then, the logo looks so similar to what we were getting back from our source though, wonder who it was, I'm pretty sure we were shipping to an Albuquerque, New Mexico smelter though.
We all were buying as much silver as possible then, lines out the doors of the shop, never broke up so many silverware sets and candlesticks, punch bows, etc. in my life. I had a few 100 & 1000 oz Englehard bars after the crash happened and silver came back to earth pricing ($4 to $6/ounce).
My favorite were the official US Assay bars, quite small and worth a bunch today.
