INstead of looking for random anomalies on coins and hoping to find something, learn what actual errors look like.
A good way to start is to take a roll of pennies, open your browser to varietyvista.com and use the date by date (including mint marks) listings there to find out what the REAL errors are for each coin.
If you think you have found something not listed there, then its almost certain you have
Machine Doubling,
Die Deterioration Doubling, post mint damage etc.
