I know this is an easy one for the forum but just looking for confirmation. When I find these oddballs I'm setting them off to the side and labeling them for future reference. Thanks.

Plating bubbles. Once they break, zinc rot will set in.
Spend while there is something left to it.

Thanks. I guess my question wasn't that clear and the pic's not that great. Had a pretty good picture from my cell phone I wanted to post but when I try to reach this site from my phone I get some type of privacy alert message so I'm leery of doing that. (But that's neither here nor there).

Save yourself some time and effort.

INstead of looking for random anomalies on coins and hoping to find something, learn what actual errors look like.

A good way to start is to take a roll of pennies, open your browser to varietyvista.com and use the date by date (including mint marks) listings there to find out what the REAL errors are for each coin.

If you think you have found something not listed there, then its almost certain you have Machine Doubling, Die Deterioration Doubling, post mint damage etc.
