Hello all, Just wanted to ask your opinion, you can see that this coin has two dots on the Lincoln. can it be a PMD error or it is damaged? thank you :)

The question back to the poster: How could this happen at the mint? It couldn't as it there is no way the normal striking process could do this. Sometimes we have to think to figure out this could of happened. It is couldn't, then it didn't. Post strike damage and intentional.

looks like a finish nail punch was hammered into this coin. Just a cull, no value (above 1 cent) coin.

It can't be a PMD error, it has to be either PMD or an error. It can't be both.

well it is legal to melt Canadian copper cents, but it may cost more to melt them down then what you would get out of it

At least you get something. When the USD implodes, all it will get you is some time consuming wallpaper and some subpar toilet paper.
