1936 1936: That was the first year for the proofs and in 1937 they created the type 'B' die.

1973, the Initials are larger on that year, than on other years.

1988 RDV-005, RDV-006, 1992 RDV-006, RDV-007, 1994-2008. Proofs had RDV-006 and Business strikes had RDV-007, but on the 1998-2000 Cents both designs appeared on these years. (1998-S,1999-S Had both designs. 1998-2000 had both designs as year varieties.)


4. What years of Denver wheat cents had three different mintmark designs?
1952-D MMS-003, 004, 005 1953-D MMS-003, 005, 006

2017-P all other years are plains. 2019-W only one year.

12. What causes a doubled die?

(A) To remove Die clash marks.
