I'm looking through some more pennies, trying to fill some later slots in the album, that I've been kinda overlooking, with all the wheaties getting most of my attention! Came across this '70 S Lincoln, I was sure it was small date with naked eye, but I'm thinking its a large after zoomingwith camera! Wanted confirmation from the CCF, but also wantedto ask if the '60s and '70 S small dates are as obvious, whencomparing the 2, as with the '82?

The easiest way for me to tell them apart is the upper curl of the 9. On small date it "points" to the middle of the 7. It points to the bottom of the 7 on the LD.

The easiest way to tell on these is with a business card:
Did-I-Find-A-1970-S-Small-Date-Or-Large-Date-Lincoln?
Keep the handy when you are searching ebay or auction sites. The card will tell you yes or no even with tilted images. Give a try and you will see that your coin is a large date. Quick answer!

@CentSation many beginners will have a hard time telling the varieties apart. Questions like this are exactly what the forum is for.

Large date, yes. The easiest way for me to determine is through the 'curl' of the 9 in 1970.
