A bit more scratched than she looked in the seller photos, but what do you grade her? Reverse is very lustrous with cartwheel effect. Obverse is lustrous but not quite as bright as reverse. It is quite a flat strike, is this year known for this?

Any issues with weak strike in 1879 were due to die state as there were over 14 million coins struck and the dies at the P mint did heavy duty work. Fully struck 79 coin can be found. On the Morgan the weak strike and worn die issues shows up on the hair above the ear and the breast feathers. Based on you obverse photos I am putting the coin at AU58 as there appears to be some circulation rub.

Luster appears to be interrupted a bit on the obverse. Nice die cracks. Is the stuff on the back dirt or toning?
Put me in the high AU camp.

actually no a bad strike for this year which can be weak. the lighting is a little much to determine if the luster is all there especially the reverse where it could be washed out. AU58 or MS63 but my first thought was AU58 so thats what I'm going with without better photos with less glare
