Is anyone familiar with this counterstamp? Found it in a bag of cents a day or so ago and I am not sure what it is. Looks kinda like an oil rig and pipeline? Thanks!

Well I'm interested to hear @chafe's thoughts, but I'll throw out a guess of an oil Derrick and dog sled (maybe an Alaska-theme). Looks like the edge of the stamp affected the coin's rim too.

Added: looks like I was close. When a similar cent was posted over on the counterstamps thread, it was described as an oil Derrick and pipeline. Here is a link to a pic of that coin. The identification is on the following page.

Oil well and a pipeline--perhaps a characterization of the Alaska pipeline. First reaction was a scorpion, but closer examination eliminates that.

Well sounds like one most haven't seen before, but most agree is something like an oil well and pipeline. Maybe a company event handout for the illustrious Scorpion Oil!!!
