Opened a roll of dimes at work and noticed this dime.
Error or Dryer Coin or...?

Dryer coin. The edge is flat from bouncing around in a commercial dryer:

The outer diameter is reduced from the big drop of the dryer. Not a mint error. Damaged in circulation from post strike alterations. Just a cull coin now. Just a spender.

The longer the ride, the more damage to the cull coin.

I'm on team "spoon" too. Someone spent a lot of time to hammer out the dimples, but the edge is still textured a bit.

And welcome to CCF @tx!

I agree, spooning--perhaps at an early stage.
