I have this 2013 D Jefferson nickel that has a very strange marking on the obverse I would say that it would be PM if there were any other marks similar to it around this but there is not the Mark is directly below the signature I don't know what it is or what it would be caused by I was wondering if maybe possibly if it was a lamination error if not do you guys have any ideas what it might be?

From your pic it looks like a scraped metal probably caused by a mechanical device. PMD

Can't tell for sure what is going on. A sharper closeup pic might tell us though. It may be a Pre-Cud.

Or a contact spot when the roll was opened from another nickel. A lot of coins get damaged when they are poured into a coin till.

I will try my best to get even closer pics I really don't believe it's PMD but I am not very experienced at this coin thing I'm a beginner but I am learning everyday, it is a very strange Mark right below the initials call me obverse and it runs right along the edge it almost looks like a caterpillar fossil would look like LOL but give me a minute or two and I'll try to get a better close up for the BP and do you would think there would be other marks a rounded or anywhere on the going as far as that goes and there is not and I believe that to be strange that's why I really don't believe it's PMD
