It appears genuine. There are a number of people trying to complete a date set of Lincolns with genuine clips, thus these do have value, regardless of how minor the clip is. I cannot tell how much value, but it's more than a normal coin.

I've seen clocks made from Coins that are clipped in the respective areas of the numbers on them. Yours would be a Close 6:00.

I know of one clock made with clipped planchet coins, all BU, all dated 1964, and it included cents through half dollars. VERY rare indeed.
