This quarter caught my eye today. The lettering looked exceptionally raised to me for some reason, and I am wondering if it is doubling? Thank you in advance and sorry for the pic quality.

Given the images posted, the quarter appears to be a normal, circulated example--with a degree of circulation flattening on the devices. Not seeing any doubling.

If you compare the size of the devices with other years they are large on that years coins. But they all looked like that that year. There was a swollen master hub that year. They replaced it with a new, new master hub the following year:

Note the locations of the devices changed and the bust is even smaller. If they had changed it during the year, there would have been a large and small date that year. (Like what happened on the Cents) but they waited until the following year to change over the Master hub.
