Hello,I'm new to the world of coin collecting and I'm checking on the possibly of getting some info on a 1990 D Washington quarter that I received in change? Any and all info is greatly appreciated and Thank you all for your time.
Missing clads are red in color. This one looks like it was normal when struck and on the higher devices, the clad color is coming back. Also it is were missing a clad, then it showing a weaker strike. The color should look like a copper cent in color. Yours is not looking like that.
There has been several of these posted recently in different threads. I got one in change too but it is dated 2019 P. I think someone is copper plating these and returning them to circulation.
