Problem is I don't know which would be a waste of time to log and send / tend to. Of course these are too many. I wish there was a coinstar that could do that for you. I would donate the rest. Any advice I could borrow Just to get the ball rolling a bit more quick as I hate wasting time and would rather work. ( is why I ask )

Thanks I'm new. Ha. "no way"

to the CCF

Please be more specific and if you have a question about a particular coin,
supply a clear photo of both sides.

@oas, first welcome to CCF. Second, if you have a whole pile of coins and are pondering which one(s) might be worth more than face value, you can just post one or two and we will provide honest feedback. You can take that knowledge to be more selective in each subsequent thread you create.

Since I'm always making assumptions I'll try and tackle this cryptic request.

I'm assuming the op is saying they have a lot of coins and know nothing about them. If that is the case and they need advice as to how to start or which coins to photo and show us I will suggest this:

Give us information on the type of coins you have:
Cents, nickels, dimes, quarters, halves, dollars?

Add information on a range of the years you may have.

Do you have any silver coinage? Bullion or coins from the year 1965 and earlier?

Maybe just let know how you acquired the coins, how they are packaged, or who collected them will help us figure out what you have. Perhaps it's a coin jar, albums, plastic Encased Coins, coin tubes.

Consult websites like the following for a fair market value.
http://www.numismedia.com/rarecoinprices/fmv.shtml

If this is too much to do, go to a local coin shop and get them to go through your coins and see what they are interesting in or what they are willing to pay. If they seem interested in something, then bring it home, give us the details of the coin, year, mint, what they offered you and provide some photos and the experts here will definitely give you invaluable advice.

Key is, give us more info! Otherwise all we can do is make an ass-u-me!
