This CBH is in a local auction. These are the only images available. This is a great overdate in the series and always in demand. Any comments would be welcomed. Are the surfaces original? Grade?

The pictures, given the less than optimal lighting, don't show me any obvious red flags about the originality. As for grade I am thinking EF(45) or AU(50), as I often get fooled by the wear vs. weak strike conundrum. It is a REALLY cool overdate!

40/45 The coin is low on eye appeal, and showing no luster in the protected areas around stars and letters that would be typical for amount of wear.

I see this one as an XF-45. Very nice specimen, and one I would gladly own myself. The surfaces are completely original in my eyes. I especially like this toning because it has not completely swallowed the luster, and it makes the coin easy to look at. Any edge pictures?

I did not win this coin.  There was an issue with my bid being accepted despite being a higher bid than the winning bid. I don't think the auctioneer knew how to manage the online software. I spoke to him yesterday about what happened and he apologized for the gaff. I was upset at the time of the auction but quickly realized not winning a coin is very much a first world issue and things happen for a reason. Thanks for everyone's input.
