I have a Lincoln 1 cent that is boldly double struck on the reverse but has deterioration of the medal. Can someone please help me determine whether I should pursue getting it cleaned and graded or spend it.

Given the two images posted, all I'm seeing is advancing zinc rot and a mangled rim (1st pic). Wonder what the obverse looks like.

With 4 posts, it is best if you send the photo's needed so we can tell you what we see instead of you telling us what it is. We only wish to educate you on what you have, not the other way around. We are your expert source.

Thanks for the input. That was my 1st post in this format. I wasn't even sure I'd successfully post. Yay me.
