If I were guessing and I am, I would say glue residue imprint from another coin.

Agree, it looks like a raised lump of glue with reverse imprint from another cent.

yep! clear glue (maybe hot glue) and another cent (the reverse) was pressed against this one.

Put it in some acetone and that glue will come off. Use 100% acetone not fingernail polish remover.

Unfortunately it seems that you all are right, having looked at it with your opinions in mind I think that it is just a spender. Too bad, I really thought that I had something there.
