So I have an 11 yr old niece that lives with us and she's taken notice of my coin obsession, but has also had a bit rub off on her! She's asked for an album (which she's getting in an Easter basket) and wants me to help her fill! She also helped me sift through the bag of wheaties my paw in law gave me, helping me fill the album he also gave! So I guess she must've picked this one up and put away, since slot was already filled because I don't remember seeing this guy! I'm assuming this is PMD, but what do I know, it looks like maybe something else happened before the damage? Just wanted others thoughts!

Entirely PMD, looks like a common circulated Wheat cent besides the damage. Good to hear more youngsters are getting into the hobby!

She's really taken a liking to the whole coin thing, she helped with the album, plus she's likes cleaning with the Q-tips and acetone! However I think my wife got her just the Wheat cent album, not memorial cents, so I hope she doesn't get discouraged when she can't fill a lot of those early years

Had to laugh a cpl days ago when I told her I'd found two wheat pennies in 3 days in the "give a penny, take a penny' tray at 2 different stores, then she said "what is wrong with people, do they not know what those are?"
