Came across this roll hunting I believe to be a pre Cud die break. Couldn't find an attribution. Has anyone seen this before?

I haven't seen this before, but are you sure it isn't a scratch @tc? The part below UNUM looks doubled, which makes me think it is a scratch on the surface of the coin. I'm definitely not sure though.

I agree with spence, to me it looks like a scratch as well but a close up shot will be helpful.

Looks more like a die gouge from the last images. Note it is raised, so it was incuse on the die. But not a die crack. (which is also, incuse on the die, because of the crack leaves a void on the die)

Seems pretty extensive for a die gouge, but I agree not a die crack or a scratch on the surface of the coin. Those close-up images are really good @tc.

How COOP say: Die Gouge? So this it is the Term. Me and my friends we say scratch on the Die. See many like this.
