1880 S Morgan Dollar 1880/79? 1880/9? Overdate

Hey, I think this is an overdate, it has 2 little spikes above the 0 in the date and some imprints on top of the 8 and 0 in the date. Is this an overdate or a VAM? The first picture is not the right picture, disregard it please

Kevboe11 you can edit your post and delete that first photo, click on the icon with a paper and pencil to get into the edit mode, you can only do that for the first 24 hours I believe.

I am not seeing any part of an overdate on your coin. This following is a link to the coins of 1880-S in the VAM directory, they should have photos similar to yours and allow you to figure out with VAM # Morgan you have.

Like I said it looks like 2 spikes on top of the 0, and some imprinting over top of the 8 and 0, like the VAM 23 overdate almost

The red mark is where there is a spike and another on the other side at the top of the 0, the bottom is also flat, the yellow denotes the imprints on top of the numbers. I have a genuine 1880 P 80/79 Van 23 and this one reminds me of that kinda
