Just wondering if these are worth keeping. I am working on downsizing and am looking to take these to the bank. No rare dates in the mix and they are circulated.
Rest in Peace

So what's the dollar amount? Why not spend them around town and let others enjoy your/their finds? You know if you go to the market and your tab is $ 11.55 why not hand over 11 of those old nickels and maybe 3 or 4 will get into the hands of a new collector... just saying.

They are worth face value and will never appreciate in value as a collectable. I, as well, had thousands of them from CRH and eventually spent them all.

Same....the only ones I would keep are the 1938s and 1939s, War Nickels, and 1950-D if I were to come across any.

Thanks everyone, I keep War Nickels and the key dates. Have about $20 going to the bank. Might drop a few in some coinstars.
