Hi I have this penny and the AM look pretty close but not sure. Also it looks like there is a bit of doubling.

That looks like a WAM but please show a complete photo of the reverse.
There are other markers that will help to verify what you have.
Also that doubling is Machine Doubling

Agree, not a Close AM. Given the pics posted, it appears there may be an issue with Die Deterioration doubling--especially with the date.

The only question you need is this: Is the 'M' centered. If so it is a Wide AM. To the left is it as Close AM.
