Hey everyone! I'm new here and am not a local American.
Since I'm new to all of this I wanted to ask for your help regarding 3 coins I have in posession, since I visited the US many years ago.

*** Edited by Staff to Add Year / Mintmark / Denomination to Title. Titles are Important! ***

I'm not sure how valubale they are.
I've got following coins with errors:
1) quarter Dollar 1972:
- no mint mark
- weak strike (but I can't tell if it really was a weak strike or just from everyday use)
- Letters T,Y in Liberty and the year 1972 almost not visble
2) 1 Dime, 1965, Roosevelt
clipped planceht, scratched
I attached the Photos so you can take a look.
Thanks a lot for your help!

Both of your coins are worth face value.
No mm on the quarter means it was struck at the Philadelphia Mint.
On the dime, that is not a clipped planchet, it is damage.

You have a well worn quarter and the details have been rubbed off during its life in the wild
the dime just has damage on the edge, it is not an incomplete planchet

Just face value coins. (with the damage to them, it turns them into cull coins to the seasoned collector)

Thank you very much for your help guys! Too bad I really thought I found something valuable. What is the history of the Philadelphia mint?

Here is their link:
https://www.usmint.gov/about/mint-t...philadelphia
It is the First Mint opened by the U.S. Mint facilities.
