1984 (D?) Penny - Strange Mint Mark, Possible Double Die?

Meztido New Member United States 27 Posts	Posted 04/27/2022 4:19 pm Hello. I was looking at this penny because where the mint mark is supposed to be looked strange. Looks like it was applied and chipped off so not sure what the issue is. But looking at it a bit further, the 8 in the date looked a bit fat to me. I'm eager to hear feedback on what the issue could be with the mint mark and if it is a double die penny. Thanks all Report this Post to the Staff
